Awareness, preparedness, & drills are a never ending process that must not ever be underestimated.   Our efforts for the most part go unnoticed by the mass population, but the rewards of saving just one life are worth every ounce of energy. 
 

This month we are continuing our focus on vendor registration with the top largest public school districts around the country.  We are currently registered with 21 school districts in 11 states reaching 6,227 schools (excluding private) to disseminate the alarmingly low rate for the awareness to stockpile emergency relief / preparedness / readiness supplies.  Some of the school districts have a great plan, some supplies and practiced plans while others remain in the shadows.  There is no excuse to let this important issue left unattended especially with the Department of Ed’s grant programs for this particular environment, Ready.gov websites plethora of information, FEMA efforts, Red Cross participation and the newest contender NCDP The National Center for Disaster Preparedness http://www.ncdp.mailman.columbia.edu/index.html
 

We have our homework cut out for us to say the least.  Our Government registrations have been but on hold, but we still get our daily fill of “quick quotes” that capture our attention and if not 162 pages long we will bid on them.  As a blessing from our race to do both school districts and Government vendor registrations simultaneously we noticed by using FEMA’s Emergency Declarations as a cross reference on which of the largest schools to register with, that our efforts will be that much more meaningful in regards to expediting the areas around the country of in most need of our emergency, medical and laboratory supplies.

On closing let us not forget what brought us to our efforts before us today of emergency relief/preparedness supplies, which is our need to raise awareness for our GPS patent on protecting children from sexual predators.  In conjunction with our mailing to the 6227 schools across the country this month we are putting in a small plug:
